New fights in Libya

Heavy fighting is kept in the Libyan city Zauiya, about 50 km west of Tripoli, AP. Government forces have attacked rebel positions in the city with tanks and artillery. Reuters reported that the forces of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi have fired neighborhoods in the city.

Meanwhile, Libya has asked the United Nations with a request to suspend sanctions against Muammar Gaddafi and four of its senior officials.
